    What our delivery partners say

    Frédéric Olive,
    Distrex

In 2007, Frédéric Olive obtained his transport license and immediately started his own company. He first joined Adrexo Colis upon its creation in 2008, and then became a subcontractor for Colis Privé in 2012.

Deeply committed to the company, he is still with us today. Many colleagues who have had the opportunity to accompany him on his delivery rounds can testify to his dynamism and daily commitment.

Colis Privé : How would you describe your collaboration with Colis Privé?

Frédéric Olive: My collaboration with Colis Privé is based on trust and respect: mutual trust established between the agency and myself with the various stakeholders. Respect within the teams between different stakeholders and the proper application of procedures. These procedures, I believe, if well applied as dictated by Colis Privé, ensure a good quality of service. A quality of service that benefits subcontractors, the company, and the recipient clients.

CP : What qualities are required to be a delivery driver?

FO :To succeed in this profession, one must be well-organized and very rigorous in applying the methods demanded by Colis Privé. It also requires developed interpersonal skills during customer contact to best carry out deliveries. And let’s not forget that we represent the brand’s image to various clients: both the e-merchants who entrust us with their parcels and individuals. Finally, I would add being a good driver and respecting the traffic rules. It may seem a bit mundane, but we tend to forget it.

    Jean-Vincent Bauwens,
    Airbornes

Dynamic and passionate, Jean-Vincent is a hands-on individual who has been working in delivery for 20 years. With two decades of experience in various fields, he has discovered and grown to love this profession: home deliveries, spare parts delivery for vehicles, and more. Delivery feels like second nature to him.

Always on the lookout for new opportunities and challenges, he founded his company, Airbornes, in early 2015 and chose Colis Privé to start with by the end of the same year. Today, he employs around fifteen delivery drivers, all equipped with electric vehicles.

Colis Privé : How would you describe your collaboration with Colis Privé?

Jean-Vincent Bauwens: I would describe this collaboration as exciting, enriching, and full of surprises. There are still so many things to build and optimize in the delivery world, making it a promising and very attractive sector. Thanks to our collaboration with Colis Privé, we have the opportunity to work with different types of clients (individuals, professionals, merchants…).

CP : What qualities are required to be a delivery driver?

JVB: You absolutely need to have a sense of service and good interpersonal skills. Even though we often deliver to mailboxes, we also need to hand-deliver packages, hence the need for good relational skills. Dealing with clients requires courtesy, friendliness, and helpfulness. I would also add that you need to enjoy driving, of course, but not only that… You also need to be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions!
