Brive becomes an agency: a new milestone driven by collective commitment

Brive agency
The opening of the Brive agency marks a significant turning point for Colis Privé. On the night of October 6–7, 2025, the site officially transitioned from a branch to a full agency, following several weeks of on-site work involving numerous contributors. This evolution, implemented over the summer to quickly meet local and regional operational needs, reflects a practical, field-oriented approach.

A transformation carried out at a fast pace

During the summer, Brive faced two simultaneous challenges:

  • Doubling its in-house delivery capacity, increasing from 13 to 25 routes as of September 1.
  • Preparing for the full agency opening, scheduled for early October.

The site was completely redesigned to accommodate a sorting machine and to allow dual activities to operate co-located during night operations (sorting) and daytime in-house deliveries. This rapid transformation was made possible thanks to the commitment of all teams, co-supervised by Christophe Pérot, Director of the Southern Region, his deputies, and Wilfried Besseau, Director of the Clermont-Ferrand agency (Eastern Region), along with his team.

Reinforced teams to support operations

To launch this new operation and prepare for the ramp-up toward Peak 2025, the organizational structure was rethought:

  • A seven-person night operations team was recruited and trained.
  • Two distribution managers assist the new agency director on the delivery side.
  • 25 delivery drivers cover the territory, rising to 34 during Peak season.
  • Recruitment, training, and support for a new supervisor.

The agency now consolidates three branches: Rodez, Cahors, and Périgueux. This structure optimizes regional anchoring in the Southwest and aims to enhance service quality.

A project driven by internal solidarity

Behind this opening, one element stands out: mutual support. The assistance from the Clermont-Ferrand agency director, the Southern Region director and deputies, the constant availability of support services (HR, IT, Procurement, Transport, Methods & Processes, Security, HSE, Maintenance, Vehicle Fleet, etc.), and the teams’ ability to mobilize played a decisive role. This spirit of unity is a hallmark of Colis Privé, especially during key projects.

“Without this support, we would never have met the deadlines,” emphasizes Éric Asselin.

Internal growth reflecting our DNA

Recruited at the end of 2024 as Branch Manager, Éric Asselin now leads a full agency and several branches across the territory. His journey demonstrates a reality: at Colis Privé, internal growth is not just a principle it’s a practice.

In just a few months, he progressed from a local operational role to managing an entire agency a development made possible through trust, team support, and collective momentum.

A new chapter begins

The Brive agency is now fully operational and ready to support growing volumes in the coming months. Its opening symbolizes what makes Colis Privé strong: committed teams, a growing network, and evolving talent.

The story of Brive is now written daily, driven by the same spirit that made its launch possible: solidarity, agility, and a shared desire to move forward together.
